Trying to embody the iphone’s mentality while being on vacation. The constant struggle to document every moment eventually creates a sense of static obstruction.
The footage was shot with my Panasonic VHS Camcorder on the gem of an island, St.Kitts.
Then the tape was put into my 12 inch Memorex tubed tv and I took my IPhone 3G and shot the tape off the tv onto my phone. At times I began to tenderly rub the TV with the IPhone and thats why at times there are subtle sounds of crinkling static and explosions of abstracted colors.
